WHITE ROSE

WHITE ROSE

By Imelda R. Hebi

I’ve seen many beautiful blossoms on this planet but the white rose

Showing their bliss

She stands all alone in the backyard

She stands brave to the wind that will break her twigs

Bear the burden on her soul and mind

I’ve seen colorful blossoms on this planet but the white rose

Showing affectations

The entire plant in the garden baffled of her

They crucify in a glance

She is not scared nor bowed

Even tumbled many times

Even got many scars

I’ve seen many beautiful blossoms on this planet but the white rose

Giving up on their own lives

she never loses hope

I believe time will glint her plain color to be a dignity

Because there is no coincidence in this universe
